The Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) creates new wealth and employment opportunities through the development of new and expanded uses of North Dakota’s agricultural products through a grant program. APUC is a program of the North Dakota Department of Commerce.

North Dakota Soybean Council

North Dakota soybean farmers across the state are represented on the North Dakota Soybean Council Board, which oversees a grass roots promotion, research and marketing program funded by soybean checkoff dollars. The Council’s mission is to effectively invest and leverage North Dakota soy checkoff resources to maximize the benefits of North Dakota soy. The Council is organized by North Dakota State law. Ag-West Bio

Ag-West Bio is Saskatchewan’s bioscience industry association, working as a bioeconomy catalyst by providing business support and funding for companies; aiding strategic alliances; and through communications. Ag-West Bio also serves as the Western Node of Natural Products Canada, a Canadian Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research. Saskatchewan has much to offer, with vast natural resources, quality raw materials, outstanding R&D infrastructure, a talented workforce, and a solid business environment. NAGC was started as a joint project of Los Alamos National Laboratories and National Corn Growers Association. Today NAGC is a stand-alone, non-profit corporation with national laboratory facilities in Fargo, ND and administrative offices in St. Louis, MO. NAGC’s activities are overseen by a board of directors, most of whom are agricultural producers. NAGC will provide the most affordable and effective framework to serve producers, veterinarians, universities, agricultural companies, and governmental agencies.

North Dakota Farmers Union

North Dakota Farmers Union is the largest general farm organization in the state of North Dakota. With more than 45,500 member families, Farmers Union provides educational programs and services that benefit farmers, ranchers and rural communities.

The organization promotes the cooperative business model and is actively engaged in the legislative process. NDFU has also developed a network of farmer-owned restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area under the Founding Farmers moniker to grow consumer understanding of family farm agriculture.

Life Science Association of Manitoba

The Life Science Association of Manitoba (LSAM) is the voice and organizational nucleus of Manitoba’s life science industry. Since 1990, it’s come to represent over 110 local organizations that span across Manitoba’s health, bioproduct, and food and agriculture sectors.
